Hôtel du Château

Founded in 1959, and still in the hands of the same family, this hotel with 15 rooms is located at the feet of Annecy Castle. The hotel and the terrace have an overview of the old town. Privilaged situation in the heart of the historical quarter, a 5 minutes walk of the lake, a 10 minutes walk from the railway and autobus station. The hotel has rooms for 1, 2, 3 and 4 people. Wifi is free. A breakfast is served from 7:30am to 10am in the breakfast room or on the terrace. You can use the terrace for a basket lunch, a microwave and dishes are at your disposal.

Arrival: 1 – 9pm / Departure: 11am

There is a small courtyard in front of the hotel with a few parking spaces (10 euros per night), if you find a space,
otherwise you will have to park in the public car park:
– a parking meter, just next to the castle square, limited at 2h15, at 3 euros, per hour.
–the castle car park, underground car park, under the general clinic. We will give you a ticket which offers the night from 19H to 8H, the day is around 1 euro an hour.
– the parking of the visitation is free at 8 minutes by foot.

A closed garage is available for your cycles.

Breakfast is served from 7:30 am to 10am in the breakfast room or on the terrace.

Our rooms include shower, toilets, hair dryer, TV, phone and free wifi.
Iron, iron table and kettle are at disposal on request.
Single bed or baby bed can be added in some rooms.

Rooms have no air conditioning.

The hotel is non smoking.

Rooms are not accessible for persons on wheelchair.

Pets are not admitted.

Access to the hotel du Château

By road

GPS = 1, place du chateau Annecy
To reach the hotel, follow direction Albertville and Musée Château. Bollards close the entrance of the walking area before Place du Château. One has to ring to access on place du château (24h/24h 7days/7). The hôtel is located on the right after the castle.

From the train station

Walk down straight ahead rue de la gare until faubourg Ste Claire. Then turn left on Fg Ste Claire and carry on rue Ste Claire and rue de l’Isle until you meet rampe du château on your right.
